Microarray Facility

Under the direction of Dr. Holly Dressman, the Duke Microarray Facility provides services for the analysis of gene expression to Duke researchers and their collaborators. The facility is operated jointly with the Duke Cancer Institute.

• RNA Quality Check with Agilent Bioanalyzer

The Microarray Facility also maintains a comprehensive database server to manage the massive amounts of data generated by microarray analysis. The facility provides data analysis support through various software packages as well as gene annotation support:

Requests for Microarray services are handled by secure online submission forms. Turn around time is typically 2 to 3 weeks, but could vary based on number of samples submitted and possible backlogs in receiving reagents. We will do our best to stay within the 2 to 3 week turn around time. Please keep this in mind when grant deadlines are approaching.
