In order to provide cutting edge RNAi screening technologies to Duke investigators, we have obtained a Cellomics ArrayScan VTI High Content (HC) cell based imaging system. HC imaging provides the ability to quantify essentially any physiological change that occurs in individual cells, in addition to measures of population response. HC imaging also allows researchers to examine several parameters simultaneously within the same assay well and/or individual cell, as well as to return to image data to assess changes in cell physiology that were not anticipated in the original design of the screen.
The Cellomics Arrayscan VTI integrates robotic plate handling, automated fluorescent image acquisition,

and complex image analysis to provide quantitative cell based data from individual wells. Image analysis is accomplished using pre-designed algorithms, or BioApplications. We have a variety of BioApplications available:
In addition, each of these BioApplications is fully customizable to accommodate virtually any HC assay system.
