We offer sequencing services on the Ion Torrent PGM. This is a new sequencer that uses semiconductor chip technology. It simply sequences DNA by monitoring hydrogen ions released every time a nucleotide is incorporated (see Ion torrent page). No enzymatic cascade, no fluorescence, no chemiluminescence etc... In consequence, this sequencing technology is extremely fast (<3 hours) and relatively cheap. Three chips with different throughput are available to accomodate your project's needs: 314, 316, and 318 chips. At the moment we only provide DNA fragment library preparation services. We will soon provide cDNA and amplicon library preparation services.
Samples must be resuspended in TE or nuclease-free water. Samples should be submitted in an eppendorf tube clearly marked with a 2- to 3- digit identifier.
