Student Publications

See What IGSP Undergrads are Publishing!

Students working in IGSP through Independent Study or enrolled in Genome courses have been successful in publishing their work. We are pleased to provide financial support for undergraduate student first-author publications in open access journals. If you are interested in requesting funding, please complete the "Publication Fees Funding Request Form" and submit to the Education Office for approval. Before submitting, please check with the library to be sure these fees are not waived or covered by current subscriptions. Please limit requests to one per student per academic year. Requests will be considered on a first come, first serve basis as funding permits. Below is a sampling of the publications authored by our undergraduates. If we somehow missed hearing about your publication, please contact jessica.crowley@duke.edu in the IGSP Education Office with the reference and we’ll be sure to post it.
