GATHER (Gene Annotation Tool to Help Explain Relationships) is a computational tool that can help in understanding the function of a group of genes, such as a cluster of co-regulated genes from microarrays. When you enter a list of genes into GATHER, it reveals the annotations that distinguish those genes from other genes in the genome.
