S-Peaker (Single-Peak TSS finder) was developed to predict and identify mammalian transcription start sites (TSS). Computational prediction of precise TSS locations has been regarded as notoriously difficult, but this model demonstrates that TSS prediction with both high accuracy and spatial resolution is achievable, while at the same time being highly interpretable.
